93 points - Medium bodied with good length and complexity. Yummy, varietal flavour and drinking well at 11 years of age. The label says it can cellar to 2035 - not so sure about that, but this wine is certainly not about to fall off a cliff. Has at least a few more years left in it. One of the best Aussie tempranillos I have tasted. Impressive.

88 points - Medium dark purple red. Spicy, earthy, somewhat pooey aromas. Nice creamy texture in the mouth of a bit straightforward, a gentle but present grip that allows this to carry food.

90 points - Deep colour and full, plummy palate. Nicely balanced and good food wine drinking well at 7 years of age. Probably nothing to be gained by further keeping. Only 12.7$ alcohol, but the wine is no shrinking violet. Doubtful that it is worth its $65 price tag though. Grapes from Heathcote in Victoria.

Very pretty floral nose, more on the palate , peppery red tangy fruits, not as deep as usual but very fresh & juicy with merest hints of French oak & needing some time to mesh - terroir speaking loud & clear from this very cool vineyard

95 points - Just had another bottle of the 2011 Shiraz Viognier....delicious, so floral with aromas of violets & cracked pepper. Vibrant & fresh rich red fruits/cherry & pepper on the palate, yet light & elegant with a long aftertaste and so food friendly to boot. What a shame we are nearly out, but we still have the 2010 and 2012 shiraz to look forward too!
