87 points - My wife gave this wine an emphatic thumbs down and refused to drink much more than a glass. I though she was a bit harsh, as it did have some positive features. But it was not especially enjoyable drinking and the bottle was not completely drained by humans - some was tipped down the sink. Hard to say exactly what the problem was, but lacked appeal. Perhaps too much alcohol.

85 points - Dark red. Cassis. Pencil palate with some storky elements. Grippy tannins. Not overly fruity. Dark and closed, a bit hard. Needs time. Lacks charme.

85 points - Very shy nose. Better density, with lots of oak, lots of structure but fruit complexity isn't there. Some black olive. Doesn't say much.
