92 points - Pale yellow. Yellow stonefruit nose: Mirabelle, apricot. Voluptuous viscous palate: a big heady wine. A hint of spice, or alcohol heat, which overshadows the fruit expression just a wee bit. Perfect with roast chicken.

90 points - (Vendanges Tardive) Pale gold with orange tinge. Bitter orange peel nose. All secondary flavours. Good structure. But no more primary fruit aroma. Is the joy of these aromatics in having at least a bit of fruit aromas? In great shape, but should it have been drunk 20 years ago? For lovers of aged white wine, this one definitely delivers. All secondary. Faint apricot tasted by some around the table, although I didn’t get much. Perhaps I’m underrating it, some folks may well rate it 95.

91 points - Medium gold. Quite subtle on the nose with hints of lees and chicken stock character. Very distinct, perhaps worked, ripe, even sunburnt? Unctuous and very savoury in style. Dry and guilt, very concentrated. Not sure if it is very expressive of the varietal character. Very long. Needs time.
