94 points - Medium red purple. Deep, intoxicating aromas, complex, slightly earthbound, clove and spice layered with floral tones and blue and black fruit. Medium bodied with lots of fruit power and weight, concentrated and meaty. Liquorice and a little liquor like. Delicious, a little worked with oak treatment noticeable with interesting acidity.

Tasted on Thu, Jul 7, 2016.
