93 points - Dark purple red. Smokey, cigarette ash, cured meats and spices on the nose, some tomato leaf tones. Lush and fruit sweet on the palate, excellent stature and ripeness, stately, yet youthful fruit expression even at 5 years old. Oak treatment is firmly framing yet gentle. Good amplitude and presence on the palate, excellent length. Drinking beautifully now, especially with food.

2014 Juniper Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

92 points - Medium dark red, with slightly cloudy look. Nose sings with Cassis - Cabernet is written all over this thing. Mulberry fruit showing on the palate, with lovely medium bodied balance. Finely grained tannins provide the frame. Can probably age for another five to ten years at least, but drinks very nicely now. Smart and elegant number.

92 points - Dark Colour. Eucalyptus nose with subtle dusty tannins. Good structure and lightness on the palate. Tannins still firm. Quite typical leafy notes from Margaret river. Bacon at the end. The fresh lightness is the hallmark of this wine.
