95 points - Lovely 19 year old vintage Lanson showing trademark citric intensity, length, complexity and great freshness considering its age. Disgorged late 2018, so 16 years on lees. This cost $180 at Dan Murphys - who had in a lit display cabinet. The wine was inside a wooden box, so no light strike - but the bottle was hot to touch. I wonder if it had not been stored in a heat box for God knows how long, whether it might have scored a couple more points. Still, a very enjoyable bubbly.

Tasted on Mon, Nov 15, 2021.
