95 points - Translucent purple red. Confectionary sugar with raspberry: classic Grenache. Palate has darker tones from judicious oak treatment. A medium bodied, fleet footed wine that is drinking impeccably well right now. There is a delicate acid balance keeping things fresh. Can’t believe this is a Barossa 14% alcohol wine! It was another 5-10 years in it at least.

Tasted on Sun, Apr 14, 2024.

The palate follows on this theme, clean, open knit, soft tannins. Fruit is bright and vibrant, supported by a lacework of phenolics. A delicate grenache with presence and length, mouthfilling certainly, if not all that complex.

Tasted on Sun, Apr 14, 2024.

92 points - Medium purple red. Pinot noir like colour. Cherry aromas. Medium bodied, quite elegant. Faint dried herbs - thyme - mingle with red fruit. Falls a bit away in on the finish, where a bit more concentration may be desirable. Drinks perfectly well now and the fruit is showing nicely, but will probably age for a another couple of years. Amazing how a medium bodied wine like this can be made from a hot region such as Barossa.

Tasted on Sun, Jul 10, 2022.
