<p><b>90 points</b> - Attractive medium deep red. Fragrant aromas, quite deep and intensely strawberry, redcurrant notes. A soft palate, shows good concentration for a Germany Pinot. Has some depth. <p><b>87 points</b> - Nail varnish aroma veal savoury palate. Too alcoholic. Some time later it softens and the terrior comes through. Exactly the same flavour as the riesling from the same winery. <p><b>82 points</b> - Wine Has strength. Too bitter and too alcoholic. Mid palate finish. Nail varnish. Savoury. No aparent oak flavour in this oaked wine. Medium colour, much darker than usual German Pinot noir. Not much aroma. Gets better 20 min after opening - the scratch at back palate is gone. Acutally quite round now. But still not much complexity. Amazing terroir connection to the Riesling we drank - very similar undertone.</p><p>Tasted on Sun, Oct 26, 2008.</p>
