<p><b>90 points</b> - Dark black red. Quite a pongy nose but that seems to blow off after some time open. Rich, slightly earthbound aromas, some loamy, blue fruit notes, mocha and vanilla, a touch spirity and animalic, tobacco leaf. Somewhat spicy on the palate, very aged, all secondary characters. Medium bodied yet rich with some slight hint of alcohol. Good persistence, vanilla and oak. Very integrated. Suggestion of tired or cooked fruit.
