94 points - Medium red. Dark strawberry nose. Palate has that strawberry aroma but with heaps of undertone of minerals: graphite. Superb acidity, finishing almost a bit spicy.

95 points - Uniquely flavoured palate, licorice and oak interlaced. Very good! This shows beautifully ripe, intriguing fruit flavour, but also excellent structure.

94 points - Medium red colour with a tinge of brown. Very savoury nose, spice and pepper, deep and intense red fruit juice aromas. Very concentrated palate and fruit intensity, acidity the slightest touch assertive, with a lick of heat but nothing overt. Very powerful palate, supple and muscular. Raw power in the fruit, does have balance and drive. Lick of caramelly oak in the finish. Almost difficult to drink due to the raw power. Black cherry liqueur notes.

92 points - Medium to dark colour with a bit of translucency. Red juicy fruit with very high acidity. Black cherry; raspberry. The acid is so high the palate impression is borderline fizzy.Has graphite nose also. If the acid balance had been kept in check a bit better it would be a 92 for me. As it stands I find it a bit hard. Improves with air and balanced out a bit more. Smooths out considerably. Came up from 88. Day 3: improved. Much more balanced and less sharp. Came up from 91.
