93 points - Medium red purple. Slightly unfiltered look. Very appealing Central Otago-esque nose: graphite, raspberries, dried spices including thyme. Hints of ripe cherry. Palate shows delicious fruit concentration with a lovely ripe raspberry core. Almost hedonistic, drinking very well now but has a good frame to age at least 5 years if not 10.

93 points - Medium dark red purple. Attractive floral, red cherry aromas. Plush and soft on the plate with good breadth and coverage, gently grippy, a touch of whole bunch character in the finish. A tidy, velvetty wine, like a cuddle.

93 points - Medium dark purple red. Attractive aromas, deep and intense and spicy with some tinges of oak. Medium bodied but still richly flavoured with good depth. A touch of sappy, stalkiness. Lovely and will mellow with time.

93 points - Medium dark red purple. Attractive nose, complex, lifted blue fruit and some earth. Medium bodied with a lovely texture, some juicy acidity that is wonderfully integrated with the body. Very warming, cosy feeling. Persistent and delicious.

91 points - Medium dark purple red. Densely spiced nose, complex potpourri, floral and oak aromas. Medium bodied, somewhat sappy and staid, a serious style, fine intensity but perhaps a touch green and stalky. Spicy complexities with a lick of bitterness.

95 points - Dark red with slightly tawny hints. Nose initially shows some raisiny rancio notes, develops after airing to a lush, velvetty and dense nose. Palate is very layered, tannins are soft and creamy. The fruit is lush and full. Fine finish. Quite good!!

94 points - Very developed brick Colour. Red fruit, strawberries. Medium bodied. Great zingy acidity, almost tingly. Long palate coverage. Very smooth. A highly unusual wine for me, because of the initial impact of the aged Colour in such a young wine. But once you get some air into the wine it really gets going. The acid balance is phenomenal.
