On the finish the coaldusty tannins meld into bitter fernet herbs.  Superbly structured with acidity, freshness and the tannins to go the long haul. A medium bodied, fleet footed wine that is drinking impeccably well right now. There is a delicate acid balance keeping things fresh. Can’t believe this is a Barossa 14% alcohol wine! It was another 5-10 years in it at least.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Tasted on Sun, Apr 14, 2024.&lt;/p&gt;</summary>

The palate follows on this theme, clean, open knit, soft tannins. Fruit is bright and vibrant, supported by a lacework of phenolics.
