Corkscore is a team of creative, committed wine enthusiasts with deep technology and commercial skills. The company is currently based in Sydney Australia and is self funding. Our philosophy is to offer to the wine enthusiast a secure repository for their wine notes, providing that essential memory of wines enjoyed over time.
We add to that the capability of search and social networking to enhance the discovery of new wines that our users are very likely to enjoy.
Corkscore revenues will be generated by advertising to wineries and merchants, offering purchase options for wines that our users enjoy or discover. We will always focus on services for the consumer rather than the vendor.
The Corkscore team is dynamic and experienced with a clear focus on leveraging technology for the benefit of our constituents and achieving a commercially viable long term outcome. We are also passionate wine aficionados with deep understanding of the wine industry and consumers.

Corkscore operates on the principle that the privacy of its members is paramount. We collect minimal personal information on registration: your mobile number, your email address and a user name which may but need not be your real name. That's it. Even so, it is important that you understand what we do, and do not do, with the information generated through use of Corkscore. Our Privacy Policy contains important information about how we look after your privacy; please read it carefully. We also encourage you to review our Terms and Conditions of Use.

The only information you need to provide Corkscore on registration is your mobile number, your email address and a username. We use your mobile number to identify incoming SMS wine reviews as yours so we can direct them to your account. This together with a pass word selected by you is all that is required to log on to your Corkscore page.
