Crushing 100T onsite at our winery in Pokolbin, we never let a wine out of our sight. From the moment we crush to when our cellar door crew pour you a glass in our award winning cellar door, we have 100% control.
With our TOP 100 WORLD WIDE fire festival in winter each year, the aptly named Burning of the Barrel, to our Cellarhand Members Picking Day during harvest each year we strive to think outside the square. Delivering new and innovative events, collaborative dinners, unique tastings, corporate events and, most importantly, wines we are immensely proud of.
Glandore is run by the people that make and pour the wines.

Mercer Wines launched by Aaron Mercer who began making wine in the Hunter Valley over 20 years ago, scrubbing tanks and driving forklifts. Learning from local legends, he soon realised the joy of making wine and has continued all over the world. Mercer is a cultured fellow with an environmental science and winemaking degree with extensive experience working in France, Germany, Canada and California. The Mercers opened a Pop Up Cellar Door in the Hunter Valley in 2022 where you can taste delicious wines and meet the family. Aaron is crafting sustainable varietals from NSW with his flair of accuracy and creativity, definitely worth trying a bottle with friends.
The Pepper Tree winery was founded in 1991 and has been developed as one of the show pieces of Hunter Valley Wine Country. It is part of a quality food, wine and accommodation triumvirate comprising The Convent Hunter Valley, Circa 1876 and Pepper Tree Wines with its surrounding manicured gardens and vineyards.
The popular boutique Cellar Door has been a regular winner in the tourism arena – complementing the Pepper Tree wine success on the show circuit.
Pepper Tree produces premium varietal wines sourced from its own vineyards in the Hunter, Orange, Coonawarra and Wrattonbully regions. Pepper Tree currently produces more than forty thousand cases per year with distribution well beyond cellar door into specialty stores and fine restaurants throughout Australia and selected international markets.
Savannah Estate Wines are produced from small select parcels of premium fruit grown in renowned viticulture regions throughout Australia. We hand select varietals from Australia's most unique regions and produce wines that best reflect their unique regionality and character.
Savannah Estate lies on the beautiful gateway to Mount View, which boasts some of the most stunning views of the whole Hunter Valley.
Songlines fruit comes from the 40 to 110 year old, flawless Shiraz vineyards in the McLaren Vale, one of the oldest and best established of the wine growing regions of South Australia.
These vines have in the past provided grapes for some of Australia‘s most famous wines, including Penfolds Grange. However, the uncompromising selection of individual vineyards means this is the first time their grapes have been assembled as a single wine.
The Worthington family has lived and worked in the Hunter Valley since the 1980s. They have the privilege to be guardians of 25 beautiful acres with views spanning from Brokenback to the Barringtons. The Worthington Family specialise in single vineyard wines
that truly reflect the seasonality and terroir of the Hunter.
