Callipari has approximately 40 hectares of vines planted to specially selected vines.
Each of the cuttings (vines) for the vineyard were taken from selected vineyards that we knew had made outstanding wines. “Good wine is made in the vineyard”
Callipari grow their grapes in two areas of the Murray Darling. The Karkarooc vineyard grows all the red varieties and Nichols Point vineyard grows the white wine varieties.
[This winery may no longer be operating.] Ducks in a Row began in 2009 with a philosophy of “increasing the colours in the palette that paint your wine world.” Ducks in a Row wines are made from newer grape varieties to the Australian scene or varieties that might not get their fair share of the spotlight in the same context. Often called “alternative” or “fringe” varieties, the range of wines includes Vermentino, Fiano and Mataro, Nero D’Avola and a Tempranillo Graciano Mataro blend.
Probably our best (or most talked about) wine is one made in a clay amphora and fermented on skins for seven months. A blend of Heathcote Vermentino, Fiano and Moscato Giallo from the 2011 vintage. We’re intrigued by the results of wine made this way and have committed to making more.

Included in “Rivah” wines are 5 wines, a Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Rosé, Malbec and Tempranillo. All varieties well suited to the Sunraysia region.
Oxford Landing is a place you don’t forget (or leave) in a hurry. Just ask the locals.
The gobsmacking River Murray winds its way through the rugged rural landscape, rippling with life and promise. A sense of community is the heart of the region and the river is the lifeblood that keeps it flowing.
When the late Wyndham Hill-Smith purchased and developed the property in 1958, his devoted team (mostly locals) set about planting a vineyard. The grape varieties may have changed (Oxford Landing’s range of vegan, sustainably produced wines now include Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot) but our devotion to sustainability and the regeneration of the local environment is unwavering, so too is our generous spirit.
