The Domaine Armand Landmann is located on the Wine Route, in Nothalten, Alsace. Armand
Landmann is already the third generation of wine grower settled at this location. At each generation,
the vineyard has grown. Today, the total surface area is approximately 12 ha. The ideal position of the
Domaine enables Armand Landmann to produce diverse wine grapes on diverse soils.
The entire Alsace wine portfolio is represented by the Sylvaner, the Riesling and the Pinot Noir. Each
vine is planted on an adapted soil, which enables Armand Landmann to create complex and fine wines.
On the top of the “Lieux-Dit” Heissenberg – the warm mountain – and the Zellberg, he harvests around
one hectare of Grand Cru Muenchberg. This Grand Cru is ideally a south-exposed valley with soil made
of old sediments from 250 million years ago (puddingstone, conglomerates and breaches). Monks
already harvested grapes there during the 12th century. Riesling has ever been the preferred grape
variety in Muenchberg.
However, all these diverse wines are created with the same mindset: producing enjoyment and
pleasure during the tasting. Thus, in the Sylvaner “Quintessence”, one can find some residual sugar
that makes it round but enjoyable, thanks to its remaining acidity and its tropical fruit aromas. In
addition, the Pinot Noir Praemium, grown in Demi-Muid casks, expresses black fruits and a spicy
aroma. To reach a high-level wine quality target, wines are produced in a strict and special way. All the
Domaine harvesting is manual, grape yields are voluntarily limited – 30 hL/ha for the Pinot Noir
Praemium, the maturation time in oak barrels is extended – up to 18 months for this same wine. All
the wines are produced in a sustainable manner. Therefore, the Domaine is certified according to the
French label "Haute Valeur Environnementale 3". The production of such certified wines reaches around 100.000 bottles per year.
The Pfister family has been growing vines on the terroirs of Dahlenheim, a French commune situated 20km west of Strasbourg, since 1780. The work carried out on the vines and in the cellar pursued the single objective of obtaining the highest quality fruit and wines, bearing the hallmark of their terroir.
At the foot of the magnificent hill of Schlossberg, in a setting of vines and of roses, the Domaine Weinbach "stream of wine", named after the small spring which goes through it, was built in 1612 by Capucin monks.
The Domaine Zind-Humbrecht has been created in 1959 by the union of the family owned properties of Zénon Humbrecht, winegrower at Gueberschwihr and of Emile Zind, winegrower in Wintzenheim. Today the Domaine Zind-Humbrecht has 40 hectares of vineyards located in five different villages in the Haut- Rhin. All vineyards are certified organic/biodynamic.
We are 100 % estate winegrowers who exclusively harvest and transform our own production. We do not buy any grapes nor juice or wine (Alsatians winegrowers represents only 22% of the regional production). Situated on the dizzy heights of the hills of Guebwiller, in the south of Alsace, with slopes of 50° and at an altitude going from 250 to 390 metres, our vineyard is certainly one of the most breathtaking in Alsace.
Scherwiller is located 50 km south of Strasbourg, 20 km from the border with Germany, and 450 km east of Paris. The village nestles at the junction of the valleys of Sainte Marie aux Mines and Villé, on the site of a major battle fought during the Peasant War.
The Frey-Sohler estate has evolved through several generations, all intimately linked with the village and the wines of Alsace. Currently occupying 29 hectares, the estate is run by Damien and Nicolas SOHLER. It is included within the « Scherwiller » Appellation Communale, and runs across the rocky slopes of the Rittersberg, at the foot of the imposing Château de l’Ortenbourg, which looks down upon these magnificent vineyards.
The Frey-Sohler estate is the sole distributor of wines from the vineyard belonging to the Sohler family.
From the Middle Ages, Riquewihr was renowned for "the most noble wines of all the country". The Hugel family’s vineyard estates cover more than 25 hectares, exclusively in Riquewihr, and almost half of which are in the Grand Cru zone. No use of fertiliser, low yields, vines averaging thirty years of age, thinning out of excess bunches, and picking always by hand, are all factors which contribute to rigorously high levels of quality.
Louis SIPP began his family's involvement in wine growing at the end of the First World War. Louise , pioneering grandmother of the family, acquired the first plots of vineyard while her husband Louis was away on the Russian Front. Today they use organic agriculture and a team of 20 people works every day to make wines which express the true nature of the Ribeauvillé vineyard.
Our house and cellars of our operations are located in Zellenberg, a small village perched on a hill surrounded by a sea of vines, 1 km from Riquewihr. The 8 ha vineyard is composed of thirty plots spread over the municipalities St. Hippolyte, Hunawihr, Zellenberg, and Kientzheim Sigolsheim, each different from each other by the wealth and the nature of its soil and the diversity of its micro climate.
The viticultural origin of the Trimbach Family dates back to 1626. For almost four centuries, the Trimbach Family has been promoting Alsace and its History, its exceptional terroirs and fine wines. Today, the family vineyard is led by Hubert Trimbach, nephews John and Peter, and his daughter Anne, the eldest of the 13th generation. Much enthusiasm and great ambitions that perpetuate tradition, the requirement and the know-how to bring wines to perfection. The undisputed masters of that “style Trimbach” a world reference among the Alsace Wine.
Established in 1902, Wolfberger has always managed to combine tradition and innovation and is the main reason for its success. Drawing on the expertise of our winemakers, the richness and diversity of terroirs of Alsace, respectful of ancestral customs, we were able to enhance this legacy, with the most advanced technologies in service quality.
