The Domaine de Font-Sane is a family-run estate since 1860...The Domaine de Font-Sane is located in the heart of Gigondas, in one of the most prestigious vineyard of Côtes du Rhône region. The know-how of several generations has made the best of the diversity of the soil and combined traditional and modern wine making techniques.
Owing much of its expansion to Clovis SAUREL, the vineyard was renamed “Saint Damien” in 1979, reminding us that an old chapel used to stand near the wine cellars, today long vanished.
Since early 2009, the vineyard has respected the requirements and specifications of Organic Farming processes. Saint Damien should receive its Organic Agriculture certification in 2012.
