Bodegas Arrayán was founded by entrepreneur José María Entrecanales and his wife, María Marsans, on their estate, La Verdosa, which is located in Santa Cruz de Retamar, Toledo. The vineyard was planted in 1999 in the south-west end of the estate, at an altitude of between 470 and 510 metres above sea level. There are 26 hectares under vine, with the following varieties: Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot.
