The Minchinbury story began in the 19th century when Captain William Minchin established a colonial property in Sydney. The property was later purchased by Dr McKay who would go on to plant the first vines on the land. By the 1920s, Minchinbury had carved its name as Australia’s most famous sparkling wine, with its Sydney home playing host to some of the country’s most famous celebrities and sporting heroes over the coming decades.
