Since 1670, our ancestors have continuously cultivated a few plots of vines, as well as olive and cherry trees. The cherries were sold in the markets of Provence to cover the costs of cultivation. The olives and their oil were destined for our family’s own consumption. The grapes were harvested and made into wine to produce the famous Châteauneuf du Pape. The oldest wine making evidence we have from our family dates from 1733, but it was not until 1987 that Domaine du Pegau was created.
