The estate was created in 1929 by Jean-Luc’s grandfather, Robert JOILLOT, a winemaker and plant nursery owner. He married Marthe, the Pommard baker’s daughter.
His son, Georges-Adrien JOILLOT, followed in his footsteps until Georges-Adrien’s sudden death in 1971.
The estate has two main activities – the work in the vineyard and the production of vine plants.
In 1981, Jean-Luc JOILLOT came to live with his mother, Simone JOILLOT, and work the 6 hectares of vineyards.
