Cannibal Creek Vineyard is located in the foothills of the Black Snake Ranges in the West Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. Our grapes are hand picked and our wines are crafted with a minimal amount of handling to produce a traditional style, premium wine.
Although started with Cam McKenzie and Stuart Gregor the winery is now solely owned and run by Marcus Satchell and his wife Lisa Sartori. All are still very good friends. The brand now fully sits around the production of 3 Pinot Noirs from single sites or single dirts in South Gippsland, 3 Dirts - Dirty Three.
We have a winery and opened an Urban Cellar Door in Inverloch which is very popular. Marcus is still also making contract wines and consulting to others in the region. Added to the portfolio is a new Chardonnay from mixed sites and a Riesling and Rose. Future plans include planting a new vineyard and bringing the cellar door and winery together in the one complex. We are fully committed to the Gippsland region and hope for our winery to become a destination in its own right in the future.
Momento Mori Wines, is founded on the principle of making wines that above all have respect for the living.
We are a small-scale winery run by husband and wife team in Gippsland Victoria. We farm our vineyards using strict organic principles, sourcing high-quality fruit from like-minded growers throughout Victoria, who also strive for sustainable and natural farming practices.
Our hand-made wines are made using small ferments, wild yeast, no oak and with no wine making additions. This results in multiple different wines that are idiosyncratic, full of character, freshness, purity, and above all, alive.
Narkoojee, meaning “place of flowers”, was a dairy farm owned and operated by Edna and Athelstan Friend, since the early 1940s. Their son Harry planted the first experimental vines back in 1980 and with his wife Val, moved to the property from Melbourne in 1995. Narkoojee had very humble beginnings with the Cellar Door operating out of a small weatherboard bungalow at the back of Harry and Val Friend’s house. The grapes were taken to the old butter factory in Glengarry, which served as their first winery. Today Narkoojee has a state-of-the-art winery that was officially opened on 10 December 2004 by the Hon. John Brumby MP, then Treasurer of Victoria and Minister for State and Regional Development.
We are Ken and Juliet Eckersley, and we have been crafting quality wines on our property at Nicholson for over 30 years.
Since the beginning, our aim has been to create Euporean styled Australian wines that reflect the intense flavours unique to the area. The extensive range of wines is ideal for people wanting more than the mainstream can offer, and are great with food.
We are located on a small peninsula on Phillip Island, overlooking the Bay of Western Port with beautiful views of Swan Inlet, Churchill Island and Denne Bight.
Purple Hen began in 2001 when Rick Lacey and Maira Vitols purchased the property - 32 hectares of prime grazing land. Planting of vines began in January 2002 with the first vintage in 2004. An on-site winery was established in 2005 and the Cellar Door opened at Easter 2006.
In the ensuing years we have expanded the vineyard to its current 7.5 hecatres and established an enviable record for producing elegant and strongly varietal wines – winning 90 Medals and 19 Trophies at wine shows in Australia.
Phillip Island is best known for its tourist attractions such as the penguins, seals and koalas. We hope it will become increasingly recognised for possessing one of the best climates in Australia for the growing of quality wines.
