Glenlofty’s vineyards have been carefully nurtured since 1995 in the cool-climate foothills of Victoria’s Pyrenees. Formerly blended into premium wines produced by Penfolds, Seppelts, Rosemount and Brown Bros, Glenlofty’s remarkable fruit has been bottled under its own Glenlofty Wines label only since 2013, with the difficult 2011 year being its first own vintage.
Quartz Hill was first planted in 1995. The grapevines respond beautifully to the soils and climates here. Our harsh cold winters and long dry summers ensure optiumum quality. Once in the winery, the intention is to let the natural terroir shine through. This is why we utilise such traditional winemaking techniques. Our aim is that each bottle of Quartz Hill wine be a quality expression of the place where it is grown.
Sally’s Paddock at Redbank Winery was established in 1973 by Neill and Sally Robb, in the Pyrenees region of Central Victoria. Distinctly Australian, the winery is named after the small town of Redbank situated three kilometres to the north and is located 2 hours north-west of Melbourne in the heart of the Pyrenees range.
Summerfield is a family business consisting of Ian Summerfield and his son Mark. Ian tends to the vines daily, and his expertise in farming and viticulture has been passed onto his son. Mark has taken over the reins as winemaker, and has continued to make wines in a traditional way with all the red wine being handpicked, open vat fermented, hand plunged, basket pressed and finished fermentation in oak.
Marks passion and dedication has taken the winery to a new level. Summerfield now offers not only a range of rich fruity wines, there is a Cellar Club, Gourmet Deli at Cellar Door and Apartment accommodation available so visitors to the Pyrenees region can fully appreciate what is on offer.
Summerfield Cellar Club is an active Cellar Club that rewards its members for their loyalty. Join now and discover what Mark has available for you.
Respecting our land. Reflecting our place.
At Taltarni, we’re redefining wine legacy—a legacy not born from ancestry or inheritance but from our land.
Our home in the Victorian Pyrenees has been shaped over millennia, serving as wine country for a century and safeguarded by Taltarni for 50 years. Our place has been sought the world over for it’s ideal wine growing conditions.
Since 1977, we’ve been crafting cool-climate wines that share the promise of our home.
Here our decades of experience allow us to break the rules – while our approach is anchored in tradition, we’re driven by innovation. We embrace new challenges but stay true to what the land reveals to us.
This philosophy delivers balanced, fresh award-winning wines and the creation of a legacy.
