Summerfield is a family business consisting of Ian Summerfield and his son Mark. Ian tends to the vines daily, and his expertise in farming and viticulture has been passed onto his son. Mark has taken over the reins as winemaker, and has continued to make wines in a traditional way with all the red wine being handpicked, open vat fermented, hand plunged, basket pressed and finished fermentation in oak. Marks passion and dedication has taken the winery to a new level. Summerfield now offers not only a range of rich fruity wines, there is a Cellar Club, Gourmet Deli at Cellar Door and Apartment accommodation available so visitors to the Pyrenees region can fully appreciate what is on offer.
