Edgecombe Brothers Winery embodies the spirit of the Swan Valley.
Founded by the Edgecombe brothers Don and Frank in 1925, our vintage vines are family-owned to this very day.
Passionate about the great wine and fresh produce cultivated on Swan Valley soil, the values of freshness, friendliness and family are entwined in the estate and everything we do.
This property had been in the hands of the Roe family since settlement in the 1840’s by their late forefather, the Swan River Colonies First Surveyor General, John Septimus Roe. It is the desire of Mandoon Estate to preserve the cultural and historical heritage of this property as well as demonstrate the full potential of the Swan Valley as a significant Wine producing region.
The Mandoon Estate winery was established in 2010 in the Swan Valley with wines being produced under the guidance of Ryan Sudano (Senior Winemaker).
Our focus is on producing a boutique range of premium wines from well-preserved low-yielding single vineyard sites, from the Swan Valley and other prominent Western Australian regions, using traditional methods that clearly demonstrate both varietal and regional characteristics.
Every year, winery founder Dorham Mann and daughter Anthea release just two sparkling wines, both created the traditional French way, hand-riddled and then aged in the bottle for two years before release. Both are elegant and delicious – a dry, rosé style made from cabernet sauvignon and a dry white made from cygne blanc.
The new vintages are released at the beginning of August each year, quantities are small and once all the wine’s sold, Dorham and Anthea close their doors until the following year.
Pinelli Estate, nestled in the historic Swan Valley, enjoys a family winemaking heritage that dates back to 1955 when founder Domenic Pinelli emmigrated to Australia. Today the Swan Valley's second-generation winemaking team continually strive for perfection from the vineyard to the glass to create delicious, premium wines for any fine dining, family gathering or special occasion.
Sandalford’s estate at Caversham, Swan Valley, had its genesis in 1840 and coincided with both European settlement in the burgeoning colony of Perth and the birth of Western Australia’s world famous wine industry.
Queen Victoria granted John Septimus Roe, Western Australia’s first Surveyor General, 4,000 acres of land on the riverbanks at West Swan in honor of his service to the Commonwealth. He named the property Sandalford after a priory in Berkshire, England. - his original home. Among J S Roe’s significant legacy was the setting aside of Kings Park and laying out the towns of Perth and Fremantle.
Descendants of the Roe family evaluated expanding into the Margaret River region in South Western Australia, purchased a 300 hectare property and in 1970 planted vines at Wilyabrup - a destination now recognised on the world stage for amazing Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
The 1990s heralded a new era for Sandalford Wines. Western Australia’s Prendiville family was already immersed in tourism and hospitality when they identified Sandalford with a vision to not only produce wines of distinction but also with the perfect synergy of wine and tourism.
Sandalford creates today’s collection of Prendiville Reserve, Estate Reserve, 1840 Range, Margaret River Range, Winemakers and Element award-winning wines from its two fertile vineyards. With advanced viticultural practices and a progressive winemaking team, the Sandalford brand enjoys a long-standing reputation for quality and exceeding expectations at every price point.
