Azienda Agricola Bera, the Bera family farm, is in Piedmont, in the Langhe area between Alba and Asti on the road from Barbaresco and Neive that climbs up towards Neviglie. Here, countryside life is tied to a tradition that knows no boundaries, and does not even spare the forest spaces where the white truffle of Alba born. The winemaking tradition goes back centuries in the Bera family. But only at the end of the ‘70s did they start producing wines to bottle and sell with their own label.
The farm is 400 meters far away the centre of the village Treiso and it rises on the top of a hill, surrounded by vineyards that are cultivated by Bricco's family. The "Hill of Pines" overhangs all the Bricco's hill and it is a point of reference for the aviation: from the top of Bricco you can see a landscape going from the hills of Langa of Barolo wine to the hills of Roero area.
Our farm is about 5 hectares of vineyards, that allow us to produce only DOC and DOCG wines, like Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba, Barbaresco and Moscato d'Asti.
Luigi Giordano’s small family winery is situated in Barbaresco, among the hills that frame the Tanaro river’s sinuous course, at the very heart of Piedmont’s wine country. Luigi cultivates traditional local varietals on his estate and produces wine from them in his cellars.
Our family has lived in the village of Barbaresco for centuries and long before the wines of Barolo and Barbaresco became known around the world. We own 20 hectares, 50 acres, of which 12 hectares, 30 acres, are planted to vines while the rest remain wild forest. Our historic vineyards are located within the Barbaresco and Barolo designated areas. There are five specific vineyards that are found on our property.
