The region originally known as Sweetwater Station had vineyards planted back in the mid 1800’s. We replanted in 1998, and quickly established exceptional semillon, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon vineyards. Award-winning winemaker Bryan Currie has been at the winemaking helm since November 2016, and he’s not wasted any time delivering his winemaking mastery. Regularly achieving National, and international wine show successes, his team are working tirelessly to showcase the Hunter Valley’s unique terroir and heritage vines. Together with now owner, Sam Arnaout (December 2016), the Sweetwater Estate team continue to be recognised as one of the finest, premium quality wine producers in the Hunter Valley. Now celebrating 25 years of quality production, and a noted five-star winery (Halliday Wine Companion), we are now in an enviable position to build on our heritage and vine-age to pursue a greater level of distinction and wine quality.
