Edward and Marjory Leung have been wine enthusiasts for as long as they can remember, with a particular passion for Pinot Noir.
Ma Maison boutique winery is the expression of that passion, born out of the Leungs’ desire to share their love of Pinot Noir with others.
Edward moved to New Zealand from Hong Kong at the age of 19 to study dentistry in Dunedin, where he met and later married Marjory. After Edward completed his degree the couple moved to Hong Kong for four years, but returned to New Zealand in 1972. Marjory began her career in the banking industry at this point, while over the next 19 years Edward practiced as a dentist in Wainuiomata, Picton and England, before establishing his practice in Wellington.
