Description:

Established by David Evans and Veronica Evans Gander in 1993 at the Eastern end of Waiheke Island. Passage Rock produces full bodied Syrah, and Cabernet blends, + aromatic Viognier and structured chardonnays. Passage Rock is still a family run business and now includes managed vineyards in Oneroa Waiheke Island. These vineyards give Passage Rock great geographical diversity on Waiheke to produce consistently ripen and robust wines, the 25 year tenure of winemaker David Evans has brought quality and consistency through understanding the many seasonal variations each year brings. The continue focus to make excellent wine has brought many successes to this vineyard. The Passage Rock winery office tastings on site throughout the year and a delicious small plates platter for family and friends to share, and catered events.
