The Wairarapa offers a unique blend of topography, ancient geolgy and climate to produce world class Burgundian style Pinot Noir. This was the reason for us to set up our vineyard in Martinborough where New Zealand's Pinot Noir history began with the first vines being planted in the region in 1883. Apart from our two flagship Pinot Noirs ‘Marion’s Vineyard’ and ‘Block B’ we produce a savoury Estate Pinot Noir, an elegant and fresh Sauvignon Blanc, a beautiful silky European style Rosé, our intriguing bright and aromatic Tribianco cuvée and a luscious Late Harvest Dolce. SCHUBERT'S philosophy is to craft wines of uncompromising quality that would stand out alongside the finest in the world. 14 hectares of wines are closely planted in the traditional, European style and the unique climate produces low yields. As a result they have been quick to capture the attention of connoisseurs and critics alike for their alluring, internationally award winning wines of outstanding character, complexity, balance and grace.
