In 1973, Austrian-born Hermann Seifried and his New Zealand wife Agnes, grafted, planted, and tended the first grapes in Nelson, raising their three children among the vines. Today, they continue as a family vineyard and winery. The estate farms 330 hectares, with ten vineyards, and exports wine to over 25 countries around the globe. All three Seifried children have returned to the family business, playing a part in continuing the estate’s legacy. From soil to bottle, for the love of family and good wine.
