Aurélian Verdet’s understanding of, and respect for nature was inherited from his father, one of the first growers in Burgundy to produce organic wines.
Since taking over the domaine the young man has continued to strive for quality, including building a brand new cuverie and cellar in the hills behind Nuits St Georges and extending his skills to include vinification of a number of fine parcels of vines from the Côte de Nuits.
