Nugan Estate is a premium producer of fine wine. It started as part of the Nugan Group which was founded in 1940 as a fruit and vegetable packer and expanded in the 1970s into juice production later becoming one of the largest exporters of niche juice products to Asia. In 1993 Nugan Group further diversified its operations planting vineyards. From there, winemaking was a natural progression.
Nugan Estate sources fruit from King Valley, McLaren Vale, Coonawarra, Wrattonbully, Langhorne Creek and Riverina. Family operated, Nugan Estate is now complemented by wine labels, including Nugan Estate, Cookoothama and Talinga Park.
Frank Bruno Senior planted the vines and founded Toorak Winery on the original block of land where he worked when he first arrived in Australia. Three generations of winemaking experience have combined with the youthful innovative approach to the current winemaking at Toorak winery.
Yarran Wines is a family owned and operated winery. The vineyards, winery and cellar door are all located in Yenda, NSW. Yenda is part of the Riverina region, the area has a long tradition for winemaking dating back to 1913 and is well reknowned for producing world class high quality wines.
Fruit has been grown on the family vineyard for 30 years, an interest to create wine from a viticultural background was developed as one of the owners began a oenology degree. The family business has since grown from producing a single Shiraz in 1998 to many different varietal table wines, rich fortified blends and also a classic Riverina Botrytis style wine (Noble Rot).
