Nestled in a region of stunning natural landscapes and a coastline that is vastly untouched. Denmark has become our home, continuing a long family tradition in winemaking. The 8-ha vineyard is located high on our estate, outside of the small town of Denmark, Western Australia. The vineyard overlooks the Wilson Inlet – a large estuary that curls back on itself, forming a final barrier to the ocean. Castelli Estate is the best of both worlds, the innovation and rich produce of Australia made with the Italian ethos of quality and balance – created to share and enjoy.
Forest Hill is Western Australia’s oldest cool-climate vineyard. Forest Hill is a proud family-owned boutique winery creating exciting wines of the highest quality. Each is made to be a true reflection of the premium Western Australian grape-growing region of Mt Barker in the State’s Great Southern expressing unique regional and varietal characters combined with finesse, elegance and definition.
When two men met in a small village in Burgundy, they were instantly connected through their passion for Pinot Noir.
This was in 1991, and many years later in 2006 this friendship had bloomed into a partnership producing three varieties of wine; Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Noir from Western Australia.
Marchand & Burch is a unique partnership where the old world meets the new world for the production of fine wines.
Singlefile Wines is dedicated to making exceptional single vineyard wines that uniquely express the terroir of their sub-region. Singlefile makes an estate Chardonnay from its home vineyard in Denmark and other single vineyard varietals best suited to different sub-regions of South Western Australia.
The mission statement for my wines is to source exceptional fruit from exceptional vineyards that displays true varietal character and quality that would make world class examples of their respective styles. I have set the highest standard for my fruit and I have an equally high standard for my winemaking. And really, when it comes down to it, my winemaking philosophy is quite simple. Most of what ends up in the bottle should come from the fruit itself and I believe that the winemaking should only enhance and preserve those natural qualities so that the wine speaks of the fruit and the place where that fruit was grown.
Our wine is the result of a passion for growing excellent fruit. It all starts in our vineyard, part of a long history with the land here. The Trevelen Farm vines were established as an extension of farming operations in 1993, starting the most northerly vineyard /wine label in the Great Southern Wine Region. Our signature Riesling and Tunney Cabernet Sauvignon support our range of wines that include Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Katies Kiss Sweet Riesling, Merlot and Shiraz.
