A passion for Vines and Wine is the distinguishing feature of this family business founded in 1984 by Nazareno Pola that even today continues to deal with production from the vineyard to the winery, wisely combining ancient methods and modern technologies, passion with reason.
Today Stefano Pola continues to run the estate after his father’s own philosophy: an evolution that has led Andreola Orsola to thorough understanding of the “character” of Prosecco Superiore DOCG; knowing how the variety has evolved and its different adaptability to territory and climatic diversity guarantees the customer a top quality product that is controlled at every stage and fully complies with the new legal provisions on supply chain traceability.
Following in his father’s footsteps with a natural gift for wine making, Giuliano Bortolomiol decided to enrol at the prestigious Conegliano Wine School (Scuola di Enologia di Conegliano).
In the years immediately following the Second World War the sight of the abandoned vines across his beloved hillsides instilled in him the passionate desire to bring the vines back. He saw the potential of this simple, local wine and was determined to make Prosecco into the prestigious sparkling wine it is today.
Since the very beginning, Mionetto has always been a modern, innovative company able to anticipate fashions and trends whilst at the same time maintaining a strong bond with the traditions of its homeland, a feature which still today sets it apart from other sparkling wine producers. Passion, tradition, research and excellence are the fundamental values of this winery and its brand, each with their own unique, unmistakable style.
