Just 120m from Rivella Silvia
Teobaldo Rivella, the owner, belongs to a family of winemakers; his father Serafino already produced and sold bulk and demijohn wine, as did his grandfather Pietro. Teobaldo began bottling in 1967 from the vineyards left to him by his father and since then he has produced just over 12,000 bottles a year divided between Barbaresco (about 8,000) and Dolcetto. A supporter of natural viticulture, Teobaldo follows an organic production and winemaking method, although not certified, and works without resorting to pesticides, fertilizers and synthetic products in general.
