Bleeding Heart Wine was born from a shared passion in the wines and vineyards of South Australia. The ancient soils and moderate climate create rich and full bodied wines that are incredibly satisfying. Bleeding Heart sources from established, dry-grown vineyards in the Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and central South Australia to create approachable and inviting wines that are expressive of their region and variety. Distributed by Fourth Wave.
Since European settlement South Australia has been the favoured climate for densely packed, bright, super premium red wines. Three regions stand out, the Barossa, McLaren Vale and Coonawarra and one wind dominates, the Brickfielder. Seasonal warm winds from the dry inland interior channel in from the north during vintage towards the coast, aiding in sugar development and veraison and reducing disease pressure. The result, small yields of intense, high quality balanced fruit recognised globally for its flavour profile. We have the Brickfielder to thank for that.
A partnership with Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale and Lower Murray wine growers, Burns & Fuller is a range of contemporary and fruit driven varietal wines made by Jim Zerella that are versatile companions to a wide range of cuisines. Dead Man Walking Wines is a project from John and Belinda Hughes of Rieslingfreak. Dead Man Walking was developed by a close friend of theirs, Tom Kies, who had a passion for wine and developed this label whilst battling bowel cancer. Tom sadly passed away in early 2019, so John and Belinda decided to continue the label as part of his legacy. Part proceeds from every bottle contribute to Tom’s sons’ trust fund to assist in their education.

David and Matthew now have their individual vineyards in the Adelaide Hills and McLaren Vale. David owns and operates Lloyd Brothers with his 65-hectare McLaren Vale Estate being home to the winery and cellar door. It is also home to the first commercially planted Kalamata olive grove in South Australia.
In 2015 David purchased the Lloyd Brothers Adelaide Hills Estate in the Kuitpo region, situated 360 metres above sea level on the range overlooking McLaren Vale. This is a beautiful 45-hectare property with just over 25 hectares planted to vines. Most recently David has planted 3 ½ hectares of what is believed to be the first Picpoul Blanc planted in the Adelaide Hills along with 1 hectare of Prosecco to complement the well-established Syrah, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio.
Lloyd Brothers wines and olives are hand crafted to highlight the best fruit grown on the Estates with their McLaren Vale property also playing host to impressive festivals and events.

"I’ve been making wine since the early 2000s, in all of the major wine regions in South Australia, as well as Western Australia, California and the south of France. In 2007, Amy and I bought a vineyard at the northern end of the Clare Valley in South Australia, and started making wine under the Atlas Wines label, which we still run today. But when Naked Wines came to Australia, it gave us the opportunity to start Rabbit & Spaghetti."
