[This winery may no longer be operating.] By Jingo can be traced as far back to the 17th Century, meaning ‘by Jesus’. Grapes for By Jingo wines are from superior vineyard sites, sourced from the great regions of South Australia and include, Adelaide Hills, Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale and as far South as the Southern Fleurieu. We have taken great care to choose varieties and clones which compliment the environment. Varieties such as Montepulciano, Zinfandel, Nero d’Avola, Negroamaro and clones of Mendoza Chardonnay. Allowing Winemaker John Gilbert to express the exceptional qualities of each individual region and their terroir influence on the variety.
