Gilbert Family Wines began its journey in 2004 by fifth generation winemaker Simon Gilbert. Together Simon and his son Will craft honest wines which are reflective of the season within which they are grown and varietally true. Wines that highlight a sense of place and style whilst at the same time paying tribute to their heritage. Gilbert Family Wines currently have a strong focus under the Gilbert range of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Methode Traditionelle Sparkling from the cool climate, high altitude region of Orange, New South Wales. Their range is always changing and evolving with the Experimental Range, consisting of Pétillant Naturels, skin contact whites, Rosé by Carbonic Maceration and some white/red co-ferments. Fun, interesting and complex wines that are hand crafted whilst pushing the boundaries with vinification.
